Italian wine region

Veneto

Veneto is Italy's top DOC-producing region: Amarone, Valpolicella, Prosecco, Soave and Bardolino are ambassadors of Veneto's enological variety worldwide.

History and terroir

Veneto is Italy's first region by DOC wine volume and one of the most varied in terroir: from Garda's moraine hills to Valpolicella valleys, from Euganean Hills to Conegliano-Valdobbiadene.

Prosecco DOCG of Conegliano-Valdobbiadene is Italy's most exported sparkling wine. In Valpolicella, Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG is born from dried grapes (Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara): powerful, complex and long-lived. Recioto della Valpolicella DOCG is its sweet version.

Other prestigious denominations: Soave Superiore DOCG (Garganega) and Bardolino Superiore DOCG.
