We had recently talked about Pope Francis and his encounter and relationship with the world of wine; today we find ourselves talking about him again thanks to the initiative of Cantina Ceci, whose excellent lambrusco Otello Nero we had reviewed.
What do the two subjects have in common? At first glance, nothing! But Ceci was the first winery to dedicate a bottle to the beloved Pope; what wine is it? Lambrusco, of course! The bottle "dressed" for the occasion in a "clerical habit" contains precisely the wine we spoke about! Naturally in magnum format, it is covered in a soft white velvety fabric with yellow Swarovski applications forming the symbol of the Vatican State and the Pope's name.
Lambrusco is a humble and popular wine, accessible to everyone – just like this Pope.
Bravo Alessandro Ceci for having restored luster to the name of Lambrusco by enhancing a product that is very often underestimated, and congratulations both on the idea and on the numerous outfits available in his linea Otello.
