Rosa del Golfo e' un'azienda a conduzione familiare con sede nel centro storico di Alezio, in provincia di Lecce. Fondata nel 1938, produce nel 1963 la prima bottiglia del rosato che avrebbe poi dato il nome alla cantina, diventando uno dei riferimenti del rosato italiano. I vini nascono da Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera di Lecce e Primitivo, su suoli calcareo-argillosi ricchi di ferro.
