Founded in 1880 by Luigi Bigi in the former Franciscan monastery of La Trinità, it is the oldest wine house in Orvieto. With 248 hectares of vineyard it preserves the tradition of Orvieto Classico and of Est! Est!! Est!!! di Montefiascone. The Vigneto Torricella cru, in production since 1980, was one of Orvieto's first single-vineyard wines and remains a benchmark for Trebbiano and Grechetto.
