A wine project launched in 1999 by Massimo Piccin, a Veneto entrepreneur who relocated to Bolgheri, on 25 hectares between Castagneto Carducci and Bibbona. It produces a classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. Bolgheri Superiore Sapaio is the flagship wine, alongside the more approachable Volpolo: a contemporary, rigorous reading of the Bolgheri landscape.
