Nero di Troia (or Uva di Troia) is grown in northern Apulia (Daunia, Murgia). It produces wines of intense colour, fine tannins, sustained acidity and a profile of cherry, redcurrant and spices. It is the basis of Castel del Monte Nero di Troia Riserva DOCG.
