Founded in 1960 by 33 growers, La Guardiense is today one of the largest cooperatives in southern Italy, with around 1,000 grower members and 1,500 hectares in the Sannio. Named Cooperative Winery of the Year 2026 by Gambero Rosso, it vinifies Falanghina, Aglianico, Greco and Fiano for more than 6 million bottles. The Janare line represents its premium expression.
